F-theta Lens

An F-Theta lens precisely focuses the laser beam onto a flat working surface, enabling accurate flat-field focusing for laser marking, engraving, cutting, welding, and 3D printing. With focal lengths ranging from F63 to F800, it allows flexible switching between small and large marking areas—without additional cost.

Compatible Laser Types

• 1064 nm – For fiber lasers: ideal for metal engraving, deep marking, and fine cutting
• 10.6 μm – For CO₂ lasers: perfect for acrylic, wood, leather, rubber, paper, and plastic
• 355 nm – For UV lasers: suitable for glass, plastics, PCBs, and heat-sensitive materials
• 532 nm – For green lasers: ideal for high-precision marking on glass, ceramics, semiconductors, and reflective materials

How to Choose the Right F-Theta Lens

• Wavelength Compatibility
  Choose a lens that matches your laser source (1064 nm, 10.6 μm, 355  nm, or 532 nm).
• Scan Field / Working Area
  Larger marking areas require longer focal lengths, resulting in wider marking lines and larger spot sizes. Select based on your application size and detail requirements.
• Focal Length (f)
  A shorter focal length provides a smaller spot size and deeper engraving, but requires a flatter work surface.
  A longer focal length creates a larger spot and shallower engraving, making it suitable for high-power lasers and uneven surfaces.
• Input Beam Diameter
  Most systems use a 12 mm input beam. With the same focal length, a smaller beam yields finer engraving quality.
• Mounting Thread
  Ensure mechanical compatibility with your system. Common thread sizes include M85, M55, and M35.
